2019: following the institutional assessment carried out by the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS), USV received the rating “High degree of confidence”, the highest mark that can be attributed to a university in the national education system;
2010: aiming to facilitate the connection of the institution’s management system to existing standards and good practices in the European Higher Education Area, USV submitted a dossier to the European University Association (EUA), for institutional assessment. 2008: following an evaluation carried out by the National Authority for Scientific Research (ANCS), Ştefan cel Mare University in Suceava was accredited as a research and development institution, constituting a component of the research-development system of national interest, in accordance with directive GD 551/2007, according to annex no. 1 to the ANCS Decision no. 9696 / 07.14.2008
