OBJECTIVES
Challenges of energy systems open new research opportunities in the field. The emergence of new generations of technologies (wind turbines, fuel cells, solar panels, FACTS devices, etc.) makes the power engineering to experiment with new means of production and energy conservation in energy systems increasingly more reliable and “smarter”.
The nZEB concept for different climatic conditions must be identified, taking into account the interaction of the building and the energy system. Optimal solutions must be establish in terms of efficiency, costs, production of energy from renewable sources, impact on the environment. The integration of renewable energy sources in buildings is a necessity and must provide real-time interaction with end users as well as high long-term flexibility. Therefore, it is necessary a rapid integration of them in residential buildings, which interact optimally at different levels with the electricity network.
Thus, in the fundamental energetic laboratory the research team together with the students, involving in undergraduate, graduate and PhD programs, develop studies in the research mentioned directions.
